Copyright & Intellectual Property
Last updated 29 October 2026 · Operated by ZAVUZI LTD
Creators are at the heart of ZAVUZI, and respecting their work matters. This policy explains who owns content on ZAVUZI and how to raise a concern about copyright or other intellectual property.
1.You own what you create
You keep your rights in the content you create and share on ZAVUZI. You give ZAVUZI only the licence needed to operate the service — to host, store, process and display your content to the audience you choose — as described in our Terms of Service.
2.Only upload what you have rights to
Before sharing posts, music, audio, videos, images or product files, make sure you created them or have permission from whoever owns the rights. This includes samples, beats, backing tracks, stock imagery and anything you've adapted from someone else's work.
3.Flagging content in the app
If you see content that you believe uses your work without permission, you can report it in the app and choose "Uses my work without permission". This sends it to our moderation team for review.
4.Formal copyright and IP enquiries
Send formal copyright or intellectual property enquiries to social@zavuzi.com with the subject line "Copyright / IP". To help us act quickly, please include:
- your name and contact details, and who you represent if you're acting for someone else;
- a description of the work you believe has been infringed;
- links to the content on ZAVUZI you're concerned about;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights owner or the law;
- a statement that the information you've given is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them.
5.What we may do
We review each enquiry and may remove or restrict access to content where appropriate, and tell the account that posted it. Accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights may be suspended or banned. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, contact social@zavuzi.com.
